Q. I just love your snowball yarn, but I can’t for the life of me cast on with it. Also how do you sew in the ends of those pom poms on it?
Anita, Epping VIC
A. Well to tell you the truth there is just no easy way to cast on, you just cast on the way you usually do but you need to keep it very loose so that those pom poms slip through...just get those stitches on the needle and it will start to sort itself after the first row.
We have a details video on who to knit with snowball you can view here. To finish off the ends, I trim the pom poms back so that they are the thickness of string (be careful not to cut the string) and then you should be able to thread it into a yarn needle to sew through as you do with any knitted piece.
