Valances

Valances earn high style marks for topping your window, but do much more. Fabric Valances can also enhance a window's visual proportions or conceal the headrail of an under treatment. Our valances are custom made with quality details such as pattern matching for a finished, seamless appearance.

Match or coordinate valances with panels, curtains, blinds or shades for total décor harmony. They can be headed with any of the headings used for curtains, including box pleat or inverted box pleats that are not often used for drapes but provide a flattering finish to the valance.

Variations on standard valances include a shaped base or jardiniere, Austrian or Festoon as well as the myriad of frills, trims and fringing that can be used.

Pelmets

Pelmets are constructed with a wooden headboard which is normally fixed but can be made with fastening tape for very large or continuous bay window pelmets, for easy transport and installation. Virtually any design is possible and we hold a huge variety of standard designs, including inserts. Every pelmet is piped along the base and padded to soften the look.

Swags & Tails

Swags and Tails are attached to a headboard in a semi-circular shape so that the material appears to fall either side of the window into a cascading tail. There is a huge range to choose from in designing the right set of swags & tails for your room. Contrasting colours can create a fashionable trim to compliment the heading. Swags in alternating colours, or even overlapped in a variety of patterns, create a truly original look for your room. As well as traditional swags on a headboard, swags are often placed on decorative poles.
