Pre-cut felt rectangles Buttons for eyes Embroidery thread and needle (or use a hot glue gun if you prefer) Scissors Iron

These cute little bunnies will keep your egg warm on a cold morning and double as a puppet afterwards. Or tuck a chocolate egg inside as a special gift for a small person. Step 1 Blow up the template below on a photocopier so that the bottom of your rabbit body is approx 11cm across. If you don't have access to a photocopier, draw the outline by hand - it's a simple shape. Step 2 Cut out the shapes in felt. Using one colour for body body pieces, and a complementary colour for the ear inners and eye patch Step 3 The back of the bunny has the ears already attached, so sew the ear inners to the ear shape using a blanket stitch. Sew the eye patch to the front body piece, and attach eyes. Sew a small cross where marked on the body template. Step 4 Pin the front piece to the back piece and blanket stitch around the curved edges. Step 5 Give your bunny a light spray with some water and a light press with the iron to pull any felt that has stretched out of shape back into place. DO NOT iron if you have used a hot glue gun.
