35cm of faux fur 35cm of homespun fabric 50cm of 7mm wide satin ribbon Small amount of polyfil Sewing machine thread Scissors (More fur designs available in stores)

Bag: Cut 2 squares of faux fur 35cm x 25cm square, then with the 35cm width as the bottom of the bag, cut the top of the bag in so that the bag is 25cm wide across the top, 35cm across the bottom and 25cm high - see diagram 1. Handles: Cut two lengths of fur 5cm wide x 50cm long. Fold each of these lengths in half lengthwise and with right sides facing sew down each side and turn right side out. Pom poms: Cut two circles 10cm wide and gather around the outer edge with hand sewing needle and thread, place a tiny amount of polyfil on the inside of the circle and pull the thread in to form a pom pom. Sew one pom pom to a 25cm length of ribbon. To make up: With right sides of the bag facing sew down each side and across the bottom. Cut to pieces of homespun for lining the same shape and size as the bag- sew down each side of the bag but not across the bottom. Pin the handle to the front and back of the bag facing down wards. With the right side of the bag facing the wrong side of the lining, sew the two pieces together around the top, sew across the bottom of the lining and place inside the bag. Sew a piece of ribbon with the pom pom on the end to each side of the top of the bag in the centre. Tie the two pieces of ribbon together to keep bag closed.
