1 Sheet of Cristina Re DIY Stationery Paper (for your cover) Blank A4 Paper Sewing Machine Ribbon (optional) Guillotine (or scissors)

These mini books are so quick to whip up and would be great as a party favour or just to keep your kids amused on a rainy day. Step 1 Take a sheet of Cristina Re paper, and some sheets of blank A4 paper, and fold them in half. Step 2 Open up the folded sheets with the inside of the book facing up. Holding the sheets together (use a bulldog clip if you prefer) run the middle of the book through your sewing machine to secure all pages. You will end up with the punctured side of the paper pointing out - this helps the book to close more easily. Step 3 Fold shut. Variations Cut the sheets of paper in a guillotine into halves, or quarters to make smaller books. Fold a length of ribbon near the spine edge enclosing the front and back, and run a stitch down this (instead of through the middle of the book) for a more decorative spine. Use this process to make a mini book of sheets of paper which have already been written or drawn on.
